In addition to measuring and monitoring airplay of songs, advertisements and other content, Mediaguide's network of computers electronically records audio on nearly 2,500 radio and television stations across the country on a 24x7 basis. For a nominal fee, customers can access any of these broadcast recordings.
Customers can set up both regularly-scheduled and isolated requests via the Internet or over the phone, and recordings can be downloaded over the Internet or provided on CD-ROM. Customers can set up recordings in advance or retrieve recordings of broadcasts that occurred within the past five days.
