Most recently, Paul completed a 2007 Pennsylvania Fellowship with the Center for Progressive Leadership and was named by the newly-elected Philadelphia Mayor to serve as Chairman for the Next Generation Branding Committee dedicated to bringing more attention to the strong communities that Philadelphia has across art, music, restaurants, boutique advertising, technology, film, TV and other cultural areas.

Paul graduated Cum Laude from Washington & Lee University with B.A. degrees in Economics (with honors) and Journalism.
